Water Ski and Wakeboard School and Lessons (Operating in the Marina at the park)

Get involved in the best summer sport in the world. You’ll be able to have lessons in water skiing, wakeboarding or even barefooting with the iWaterski team. Bookings are limited so make sure you book before arrival to avoid disappointment. Bookings and SUP board hire can be made through the Discovery Parks - Moama East office either by phone or email. Waterskiing is $150 per hour for the boat and you may have up to 6 skiers. Paddle boards are $30 per hour and $60 if you would like a 30min lesson before hand.

Port of Echuca (4.3km)

Walk through the old town of Echuca down at the Port where you will be transported back to a simpler time, before iPads.
Depending on when you travel to the Maiden’s Inn Holiday Park, you could be privy to the tug-of-war event, the Riverboats Musical Festival or even a historical street display of vintage cars. Even without all these goings-on, you can still thoroughly enjoy a walk along the wharf as the sun goes down, and drop into the Star Hotel to check out the underground bar and sawmill site.

Unique Cars at The National Holden Museum (4.7km)

Exhaust yourself with beautiful, unique cars at the National Holden Motor Museum. Models from far and wide have been selected and brought to this museum for the betterment of Australia. This Museum takes it upon itself to educate and excite those who visit the museum, igniting inner rev-heads, as the largest one-brand, unique car museum in Australia should.

Rich River Golf Club (8.4km)

Challenge your partner to a 9 or 18-hole game at this championship golf course. The course is open year round, offering dining options at their bistro, café and two bars. Let the kids sneak off to the games room while you spend time reconnecting with your loved one. No need to check in on them if they are too quiet – Rich River Golf Club supervises the games room.

Billabong Ranch Adventure Park (14.1km)

Leave your Moama East accommodation and make your way to the Billabong Rand and Adventure Park for new experiences. Climb onto the back of a horse and enjoy a trail through the red gum forests, overlooking the banks of the Murray and Goulburn River. Archery and rock climbing are also available at the adventure park. For the competitive couple, grab a couple of mini golf-sticks and head out to the mini golf course for a tournament. Bet dinner on it!

Paddle Steamers and River Cruises  (4km)

Kids are drawn to the historical wonderment of the paddle steamers; enticing them with loud foghorns and simple engineering that will serve them well in science class for years to come. The river cruises are located in town, around 10 minutes from the Discovery Parks - Echuca and will take you and your family to some stunningly secluded areas of the river. Paddle steamers leave every hour, during business hours, though some companies do have night cruises.
